Cookie Policy

We use technology to provide you with a smooth, secure, and personalized educational experience. Here we explain exactly what cookies are and how we use them at FashionClass.

Last updated: June 23, 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your browser or device (computer, phone, tablet) while you browse. They help the platform "remember" your actions and preferences (such as login, language, or course progress) over a period of time. This prevents you from having to re-enter information every time you navigate from one page to another.

2. Types of cookies we use

At FashionClass, we classify the cookies we use into the following main categories:
  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Essential for the platform to work. Without them, you couldn't log in, process payments, or access your courses. These cookies cannot be disabled.
  • Performance and Analytical Cookies: Allow us to measure traffic and analyze how students interact with the platform (for example, knowing which lessons are visited the most or if there are pages that take time to load). This information is aggregated and anonymous.
  • Functionality Cookies: Help remember your settings and preferences within the site, such as your experience level or viewing preferences, to offer you a smoother experience.

3. Use of third-party cookies

Some features of FashionClass require tools provided by highly trusted third parties. These providers may set their own cookies for the operation of their services:
  • Supabase: Uses secure session cookies to keep you logged in and ensure only you can access your purchased courses.
  • Lemon Squeezy: Uses security cookies to prevent fraud during financial transactions and payments.
  • Analytics (e.g., Vercel Analytics): Used to monitor technical page performance and ensure fast loading times for videos.

4. How long are they kept?

Depending on their function, we use two types of durations:

- Session cookies: These are temporary and are automatically deleted from your device the moment you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies: Remain on your device for a predefined period of time or until you delete them manually. They are useful for keeping your session open between visits so you don't have to log in every day.

5. How to manage or disable cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Most web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) allow you to control cookies through their configuration settings.

You can set your browser to block them or to alert you when a site tries to install them. However, please note that if you decide to block strictly necessary cookies (such as authentication cookies), you will not be able to access your account or view courses at FashionClass.

Measure better to teach better

We do not use analytics to invade your privacy, but to optimize your learning experience. Understanding what works and what fails on the platform is the first step to building a better academy.
